"Building for a hundred years"
Some of the strops and tools I use are over a hundred years old.
I can simply say that these provide the benchmark for quality and design.
I strive to construct useful things which will stand the test of time. The choice of materials, techniques and design all have this as their goal.
Much of what I do is therefore styled on classic models using traditional techniques.
This slogan is a heuristic guide, and, of course, I will never know if I succeed. I can only hope that what I make could also give satisfaction to future generations.
